Banff - Jasper - Lake Louise
Truly a Finesse West Classic, this will be our 12th tour of Alberta and British Columbia provinces. A perfect blend of beautiful and breathtaking natural scenery, we'll see deer, elk, bighorn sheep, bear and, if we're really lucky, moose. We'll also visit the metropolitan cities of Calgary, Victoria and Vancouver and ride the world famous Rocky Mountaineer train. Come join the biggest moving bridge party on the North American continent.

After a short ride to Banff, our guide takes us on a tour of the Banff townsite and its magnificent local natural scenery. We'll take a spectacular gondola ride to the top of Sulfur Mountain.

We'll tour Yoho National Park and the famous lakes of the region today. The days highlight is a stop at stunning Lake Louise where we'll lunch at the world famous Chateau Lake Louise.

We'll travel along the Continental Divide via the Icefields Parkway. Spirits will soar when we stop for a "Snocoach" ride across the mighty Athabasca Glacier!

Today we'll tour Jasper National Park stopping at Pyramid Lake, Maligne Canyon, and cruise to Spirit Island on Maligne Lake.

"The finest way, bar none, to experience the Rockies" as we board our train, the "Mountaineer", for a spectacular journey through some of the most stunning landscape in the world. Tonight we stop in Kamloops.

We rejoin the "Mountaineer" and again recline in the super comfort of our wide-windowed Dayniter to continue our way through untamed wilderness. Early evening we arrive in Vancouver and board our ferry to Victoria.

We depart for the highlight of our stay in Victoria - the world famous Butchart Gardens - a flower lovers dream come true. Following our visit to the gardens, it's a short drive to meet our B.C. Ferry cruise through the endless evergreen islands to Vancouver. Our hotel is in the heart of the city, and we'll have free time to walk down lively Robson Street

This morning we'll continue our tour of Vancouver, visiting Stanley Park, the historic district, China Town, Gastown, Granville Island for a refreshing lunch break, and Capilano Park with its 450' suspension footbridge. Tonight's grand Farewell Dinner will be a lively finale to a great vacation.
