Larry Cohen - Bridge Expert Extraordinaire

Larry Cohen has done it all in the world of bridge. As a
player, he has won 26 National Championships and
a
multitude of prestigious events worldwide. As a writer,
he is most known for his best seller on "The Law of
Total Tricks". He has written many other books,
magazine
articles and bridge software as well. Larry also appears
in two monthly columns in the ACBL Bulletin: 'The Real
Deal’ and as a panelist on ‘It’s Your Call’.
In spite of his successful career competing and
writing, it is teaching bridge that Larry loves most.
Coincedentally, his first big teaching appearance was way
back in the mid-1990’s when Finesse West Tours
invited
Larry to Sea Island, Georgia. From there, he went on to
teaching local classes, land seminars and serving as the
host and guest lecturer on more than 60 cruises
worldwide. He is well known for his “Vugraph Projection”
method where the students can see and follow on a large
video screen. Also, his presentations are always filled
with humor and a practical, easy-to-follow approach.
Cohen is not just about teaching and then
retiring to his guest room. He prides himself on being
available 24/7 for interaction with students. No question
is off limits—Larry even welcomes questions about Fred
Theurkauf (as long as it’s personal).
While not playing, writing or teaching, Larry
enjoys hiking and golf and spending time with his lovely
